Dear all,

A friend here in Belgrade has destroyed the front of his '97 Legacy (kombi) 2.0. With a local Subaru dealer is now searching Europe for the same car badly damaged from the back, to put the two parts together. Don't ask, this is Serbia

Does anybody maybe have an idea where to search?

And another piece of info: I left my '96 2.2GX for the replacement of the water pump and linked minor parts. It will cost about 250 euros. How much would you pay for that in Germany, Austria and Switzerland?

@Marty: We pay more for the parts, I think, because they bring them per order from Greece, but the "arbeit" is much, much cheaper. The pump and related parts is 180, all of the work up to 50. But they just told me the radiator leaks, as well. I bought the car for 8,500, now, with the clutch (kupplung), steering, tyres et all, it's well over 10,000 overal. The previous owner maltreated it just as he is maltreating his newer Legacy. I love the car, but seem unable to reach the expected period of light maintanence and drive it in peace for a few tkm, without problems and additional costs. I have 165,000 on it now and know that it can go on, but s..t related to poor maintanence and care just keeps popping up. Umph, I feel better now. Sorry.

@ChriSTIan: I'll propose to the guy to contact Roland ... but only if they don't find something on their own in the meanwhile. I'll get busy only if anybody here has something very concrete in mind - I figured that if anybody does, it might be useful for both sides.
