Hier hatten wir schonmal ueber den Scoobymonitor gesprochen, bzw Roadrunner hatte ihn ausgegraben. Habe den Produzenten mal angemailt, wegen Einsetzbarkeit in Deutschland, und er hat mir geantwortet, dass er das Ding auch mit KMH anstatt mit Meilen anbieten kann. Ausserdem kommt er in den naechsten Tagen mit einem Update seiner Seite www.scoobymonitor.co.uk um die Ecke... da steht dann auch was zum Thema Preis. Er baut das Ding uebrigens auch selbst, und will wohl auch DIY Kits anbieten... Das Ding stellt so ziemlich alle Infos dar, die aus dem Steuergeraet zu bekommen sind, sehr simpel zu installieren, und abzulesen... kleiner Haken: gibt's zur Zeit erstmal nur fuer den 97/98er. WRX frueher und spaeter sind in Arbeit.

The unit connects to the Select Monitor port provided on all Subaru Impreza/Legacy models in order to read diagnostic information from ECU itself, this information can be supplemented by additional electronic sensors such as Oil Pressure/Temperature senders.
The monitor displays 4 parameters simultaneously, the choice of which parameters are shown is made using 2 small buttons on the side of the case. The unit actually reads all available parameters every cycle (approx 3.5/second) and can write all this data out via an optional RS232 interface. Additionally there is a LED shiftlight, although this is currently limited to a maximum of 6375RPM and is not configurable.
