Subaru Community

Ich bin visitng Wilhelmshaven, Deutschland in ungefähr 3 Wochen. Alle mögliche Mitglieder dort sprechen Englisch und sind bereit, einem Amerikaner mit irgendeiner Besichtigung zu helfen? Traurig für den schrecklichen Deutschen, wie ich Übersetzung Software benutze. Vor, ich hatte zwei Jahre des Deutschen in der Schule, aber das war 18 Jahren also ist mein Deutsch sehr schrecklich.

Traurig, wenn dieses das falsche Forum ist, bitte so Bewegung es, wenn dieses im falschen Platz ist. Auch wenn Ihr Englisch so schlecht wie mein Deutsches ist, bitte haben Sie nicht Angst zu helfen. Ich gerade verließ Schottland und hatte eine wundervolle Zeit mit den schottischen Subaru Inhabern. Obwohl sie Englisch sprechen, könnte ich nicht verstehen 1/2 von, was sie sagten, aber es arbeitete fein aus.

Glad to see some friends here. I'm very flattered to hear that someone knows of my work on NASIOC. For those of you that don't, I'm a Moderator on NASIOC, which is the largest Subaru forum in America. I am currently off the coast of Scotland. I am a member of the US Navy and we are pulling in to Wilhelmshaven. My main reason for writing is to find some local owners to show me their cars and help me find out where to visit in the area. The reason why I am doing this can be blamed on Mumbles as mentioned by Shadow above.

Our ship visited Boston in July and Mumbles (real name Brendan) picked me, showed me the town, and generally made my visit 500% better than it would have been. So I decided to ask the same of Scottish Subaru owners when we pulled into Faslane, Scotland. They came through just as well or better than Mumbles. I got the chance to return the favor to Mumbles as he visited Virginia Beach where I live and stayed at my house a few days while he was in town to visit an air show. The Scottish folk don't know it, but I'm sending a supply of Kartboy billet aluminum battery tiedowns from America as a thank you when I return home in a month.

A trip on the Autobahn would be nice, but speeding has been taken care of by the Scots. How does 155 MPH in the rain at night sound? =)
