I do like the hoodscoop of your Legacy GT, but I would prefer to have this engine available (that "needs" the hoodscoop!) here in Germany. Unfortunately Subaru of Germany never offered the Legacy with the furious 2.5 Turbo, what a pitty. I had to take the 3.0R to get a more powerful Legacy. Oh poor me ... But I like the 3.0R also. If offers some advantages and I appreciate them.

Maybe we can dream of a 3.0R with forced induction (Turbo yeah!), but with the current gas prices I doubt that there will be a big market for that version.
It would be a killer car (smoothness AND big power), but a very expensive one (price tag and also running costs).

Now let's hope that your vehicle will arrive as soon as possible. Then hit the autobahn (after driving in the engine)- later you can tell stories how fast you were going.

I have heavy doubts that the 3.0R can be easily tuned with an aftermarket turbo setup. Anyways it would have to be custom made and that would lead to some serious problems with our beloved "TÜV". Too much regulations here that spoil this kind of fun. It is possible but only with much effort and tons of money.

The 3.0R offers 245 HP bone stock (250 HP in North America).


Your 2.5GT is already tuned up to 350 HP??? That is .... just ....
Did you remove the max speed limiter? If not that could limit the fun on the autobahn ...

By the way, I visited the IAA in Frankfurt today. I have to say that the new color is verrrry nice (this metal crystal grey or whatever it is called)

Wie wärs mit einer Ausführung in Deutsch/Englisch . Ist wohl etwas mehr getippse für Euch , aber dann könnte ich auch als Schulabgänger (197 die Beiträge richtig Interpretieren . (Bitte jetzt keinen Kommentar)Ich habe seit dem Englisch so gut wie nie mehr gebraucht . Bin auch ein alter Legacy Turbo
Enthusiast , aber wenn in Deutschland seit gut zehn Jahren nichts vergleichbares mehr Angeboten wird, greift mann irgendwann bei einem 3 Liter Sauger zu. Das hört sich jetzt nicht unbedingt Zufrieden an, ist aber nicht so.

hab ne frage zu deiner scheiben töhnungsfolie,welche marke hast du genommen,
und was kostet es für den 04Legacy??? und,wie stark ist die töhnung ???
hast du event.n bildchen zum anluschern ???
gibt es für den legacy 04`/05 stahlfelgen für winterbetrieb(...was garantiert
sch.... aussieht !? würde mir event. paar gebrauchte alus zulegen, hat jemand
noch so was überflüssig herum liegen .
ne andere frage beschäftigt mich noch,wo kommt beim 2liter die standheizung
hin ,hat da jemand schon nen tip ??? .
fragen über fragen !!!

- Gelocht / Geschlitzte Bremsscheiben vorne + härtere Klötze

-Stahlflex- Bremsleitungen



aber keine weiteren Änderungen geplant, da das Fahrzeug original schon TOP ist!!
